Participation
To participate in the China Studies Program, students must be enrolled as full-time students and be receiving academic credit for the program from their home institution. The CSP does not grant credit directly; rather, it serves as an extension campus of the member institutions of the Council for Christian Colleges & Universities.

The program recommends to home institutions that students be granted the equivalent of 16-17 semester hours of credit (24 units), distributed as follows:

Business Concentration

China Studies Concentration

Because the program is interdisciplinary in nature, credits may be applied in a variety of ways. Possible application can be made to fulfill general education requirements or those in a student's academic major or minor. The seminar courses correspond to upper-level courses. Students should atively seek out their advisors to decide the best way to apply the credit.

Grading
Evaluation of student work is based on many factors. These include but are not limited to: participation, quizzes, written papers, oral presentations and comprehensive examinations. A "C" grade indicates adequate performance, a "B" grade indicates good, competent and complete work, and an "A" grade indicates excellent, creative and integrative work, revealing superior analysis and content.
